EDL 585: Lesson 9 Leadership Strand

In the last two lessons , you and your classmates discussed papers by Roland Barth. This lesson promises a similar discussion on a new paper by a new author.

Paper Discussion

Remember to think about the guidelines of How to Initiate a Paper Discussion. Be sure to take careful notes about important ideas and shortcomings in the paper. Craft your discussion posting early in the week and plan to respond to your classmates later in the week.

The citation for this week's paper is:

Hatch, T., Eiler-White, M., & Faigenbaum, D. (2005). Expertise, credibility, and influence: How teachers can influence policy, advance research, and improve performance. Teachers College Record, 107(5), 1004-1035.

As in the past, the paper is available through Brookens Library's electronic databases.
