Accomplishments and innovations

  • Led first school-wide implementation of monthly technology training program.
  • Wrote school technology plan to integrate with SACS accreditation plan. Technology program received several Commendations in final SACS Visiting Team report.
  • Designed and implemented award-winning website with students.
  • Led one of first initiatives to implement teacher homework pages; 75 to 80% teacher participation.
  • Developed the first school Intranet site including teacher handbook, technical troubleshooting information, staff development schedules, and administrative policies.
  • One of first schools to implement parent email list.

  • Technical support for network of 300 computers and 6 servers across 9 buildings.
  • Upgraded network infrastructure from hubs to switches.
