Presentations: CyberTools for Today's Schools - A Pilot Study

Dr. Baumbach asked me to create an online course for teachers who are new to online learning. This project was completed as an independent study and we offered four sections of the course. Working on this project has given me the opportunity to explore the experiences of novice online learners and begin to form a research agenda.

I presented the results of the pilot course at the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education (SITE) conference in 2004 and submitted a paper for the Proceedings.

SEIR*TEC and ITRC have continued to offer the course. I am collecting data from the subsequent courses to perform more analysis at a later date.
